Perhaps the only saving grace and most consistent characters were Caitlin and Cisco. Added to this was the same old same old plot of bad guy almost taking lives, Flash saves the day. It’s a poor message to send out to the world. From the whiney, dependency of Flash’s incestuous sister-girlfriend to how their dad supports it.
As did the predictability….and the fact that their relationship is unhealthy in Flash’s adopted family. We stayed, hoping that relationship would end or she’s be written off the show. Then came the incestuous relationship between Flash and his adopted sister. I would rate this mid tweens or 14 to 18 yeasts old maybe older.Īt first it was great. So in the end I would say a very disappointing show because of the innocent beginning and then the guilt drop on the parents to say “no” after the’ve said “yes”.

Another thing to mention is it sometimes gets hard to understand somethings because of plot holes that are either built upon or collaborated with the arrow series which is very violent and gory if u want to know more about more ratings about the scales of how appropriate this series is check other reviews because I am not comfortable typing it. I’ve only gotten to season 1 episode 7 when we decided to turn it off. It turns out to start out good and inosent but gets down hill fast and then atrocious once season 4 hits. But later in season 1 it mentions drugs, then I read the reviews and how the original review is very misleading. What also didn’t help is that he investigates murders so their will be a murder crime about once per episode. I’m a late 12 years old only child and my mom and I struggle to find a show that both fit our styles and we found The Flash and it started out alright and we noticed it’s on the channel CW which tends to have inappropriate content and it was iffy because of gunfire. If he gets stabbed they have to yank it out, then Barry will probably get better in like 5 hours. Because Barry heals fast he feels pain really quickly.
When characters get hurt they pull bullets and shrapnel out of their bodies but you can cover the kid’s eyes. It sometimes shows dead corpses but usually doesn’t. This is a superhero show so it has violence. We don’t really see the blood until Barry messes up the timeline and has to return it. 11 year olds might feel scared because when Barry was 11 his mother got stabbed by one of his greatest enemies. He starts sobbing about how much he likes chicken wings. But they make it funny because Barry gets drunk for the first time as flash. One time in season 4 Barry has his bachelor’s party, they go to a place where woman are wearing inappropriate clothing(I had to skip over that part). Barry is a very attractive guy so he does have people kissing him. The show is about a guy who got stuck by lightning. There is kissing and making out but barely. I love watching this with my 11 year old daughter.

This season is just a good idea with an awful execution. He doesn't listen to anyone, he sends Nora back to the future, he ruins his relations with Iris, he treats his team like trash and he talks down to Eobard as if he himself hasn't taken help from him. And Barry himself wasn't any more rational. If I were The Flash I'd have either spanked them both till they mended their ways or just killed them as they were both a waste of oxygen. Take that away and Cicada is basically an irrational crybaby. And the only reason why it was better than Supergirl is because of the tension it was able to create. Thankfully The Flash was better than Supergirl, but not as good as Legends of Tomorrow. And the female Cicada! *dies from cringe and then comes back to life to complete this review* What was with Arrowverse and showing bigotry in 2018? Supergirl had it towards aliens, Legends of Tomorrow had it towards mythical beings, and The Flash had it towards metahumans. It almost seemed like they were all WANTING him/her to win. It's ironic that at the same time Arrow was also coming but it had the exact opposite thing - it did so well even though the script was basically a middle finger drawn on an A4 size sheet. The premise was really, really good - Barry and Iris' daughter, Nora comes from the future to find out why her father disappeared from the timeline and why he was unable to defeat his enemy, Cicada. Abuses aren't enough for me to speak on Season 5.
